On 6th December, the 6th Edition of the Gulu Art Exhibition brought an unforgettable experience to the Gulu City Marathon at Kaunda Grounds. This year’s theme, “Running for Culture and Heritage,” perfectly captured the spirit of the exhibition, celebrating art, community, and the rich cultural heritage of Acholi Land.
At the Loremi Tours Tent, Visitors were treated to a vibrant fusion of art, culture, and community spirit, where creativity met tradition. Our local artisans from Patalira and Lukodi Villages offered immersive cultural experiences, showcasing the beauty of Acholi craftsmanship through pottery and basket weaving. Attendees also had the chance to explore their own creativity with our calabash painting experience, connecting hands-on with local heritage.

The Gulu Art Exhibition is an annual event that offers a platform where art preserves and communicates culture, community experiences, and environmental awareness. Each yearly exhibition addresses critical issues such as cultural preservation and environmental conservation, while fostering dialogue, empowering local communities, and celebrating the diversity of our community artisans.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who stopped by the Loremi Tours tent, shared in the joy, and supported our community artisans.
