Today, Loremi Tours celebrates 8 years of creating travel experiences that matter. Founded with friendship, connection, purpose, and community at heart, our journey began with a mission to simplify travel while supporting the Acholi community in Northern Uganda, a region deeply affected by the NRA–LRA war.

Over the years, we have developed immersive cultural tourism in Uganda, offering experiences like Acholi Homestays, guided cultural tours, and local craft workshops. We also organised Nipoo, a remembrance event for victims of the NRA–LRA war, and the Gulu Arts Exhibition, highlighting the creativity and resilience of Northern Uganda’s artists.
Our work has earned recognition, including Travelife Partner certification, the Fair Trade Tourism Engaged Award, and being named among the Top 10 participants in the 2025 CBI Business Awards. Through these milestones, we continue to promote responsible tourism in Uganda, creating meaningful opportunities for local communities while showcasing Uganda’s rich cultural heritage.

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to building sustainable and community-based tourism in Uganda, sharing the stories, culture, and beauty of Northern Uganda with travelers from around the world.
Here’s to 8 years of impact and many more journeys ahead.
